The New York Post has a way of saying a lot on its front and back pages by saying very little. They tend to let the picture say a thousand words instead. Sometimes, if the story is big enough, they use both the front and back pages
Inside the Post writers usually have a lot more to say.
In the lead game story the paper is already questioning the Yanks' ability to come back from last night's rout.
"Pitted against Indians stud C.C. Sabathia, the leading Cy Young Award candidate, on a night the lefty was ripe for a spanking, Chien-Ming Wang dug the Yankees an ALDS grave they may not have enough arms to dig out of. "
And at least one writer at the paper is wondering aloud if Joe Torre could get fired if the Yankees don't right the ship. Unfortunately the paper mis-linked that story on its site, so I can't post it.
One scribe actually credits Sabathia for keeping his cool when things got tough.
Of particular interest to Tribe fans is this tribute to yourselves, as the Post takes a look at what it's like to be an Indians fan.
